Humanity is cloud-based employee scheduling software with time tracking and much more. Our brand promise is to improve, streamline and simplify your staff scheduling processes.
As a UI/UX designer, my role was to translate all the functionality of the web application into mobile, following a mobile-first approach. I was responsible for both the Android and iOS apps.

Dashboard
Dashboard keeps users connected to their workplace. Users can see the latest version of their schedule in real time and easily check who is working with them on any given day.
They always know when their next shift is, and see the latest messages on the message board and any pending shift-swap requests.
Managers always know who is at work, running late or on vacation. By customising the dashboard, they can see the most vital business data at a glance.
Time Clock
Time clock allows you to view and manage staff time and attendance from your pocket. Allow employees to clock in from their smartphones.
The customisable Time Clock can ask employees to take a photo of themselves whenever they clock in and out of shifts, to keep everyone honest.
Use web-based GPS to confirm the exact locations from where your employees are clocking in and out. Track time and absences for remote workers with ease.
Shift Planning
Managers are not always at their desks, but shift-swap requests and the need for new shifts come in all the time.
The Shift Planning module gives them full control over their staff schedule, just as on desktop, only faster.
For staff, we also made it easy to swap shifts with colleagues or cancel a shift if necessary. The module also lets them quickly browse their own shifts, open shifts they can pick up, and colleagues’ shifts.
Leave
Staff can independently request time off and choose whether it is personal, sick or vacation leave. There is an option to take just a few hours, and users can always check how many free days they have.
Managers give staff greater autonomy while decreasing their own workload at the same time.
